Jacqueline Rancour, LMSW

I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 20 years specializing in the treatment of adolescents and adults. In 1998 I received my BA in Psychology from Michigan State University and in 2001 I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. I have training in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Primary treatment techniques include these methods and are always client centered. Art, music, and writing are always welcome additions to treatment. I have worked extensively with individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, Substance Abuse, and Borderline Personality Disorder.

My current work focuses on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and overall life stress with a trauma-informed approach. I believe in the innate healing power in all of us and will work hard to support you in this journey towards your best self. You are your own expert and we will work together to come up with a treatment plan that suits you best. My goal is for you to feel completely unjudged and to learn to trust yourself and your own instincts as you move closer to happiness and peace.

All ethnicities, religions, lifestyles and sexual orientations are welcome. Sessions are offered in office, via telehealth or phone. I am a Covid-conscious therapist. Masks will be worn upon request with absolutely no judgement and a belief that Covid concern is understandable and legitimate. The office has an iWave purifier installed to get rid of viruses and bacteria and the individual office has a hepa air filter in the room.
